Sáng Fortune Company is a project by Cassandra Orion, an independent maker based in the US and Vietnam. When you order at sanglabs.co, you're buying directly from me. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean me. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Questions: hello@sanglabs.co.

The Guardian: preorder and deposit

• The Guardian costs $249 plus $15 US shipping, $264 in total.

• You pay a $99 deposit at checkout. This reserves one of 20 numbered pieces.

• When your Guardian is finished, we'll email you a payment link for the remaining $165.

• Please pay within 7 days of that email. If the balance isn't paid by then, we'll refund your deposit in full and offer your piece to someone else.

• Your deposit is fully refundable any time before your Guardian ships.

• We plan to ship by November 30, 2026. If we can't, we'll email you a new date, and you can ask for a full refund instead.

The DIY Kit

The DIY Kit costs $129 plus $9 US shipping, paid in full at checkout. The build guide and setup app are online, and you get access when your kit ships.

Handmade pieces

Each Guardian is finished by hand, so color, texture and small details will vary from the photos. That's part of what makes each one yours.

Fortunes and the online service

• Your fortune teller needs wifi and our online service to work.

• Each device comes with 1,000 fortunes. More are available in packs of 1,000 for $10.

• If we ever have to shut down the service, we'll give you at least 90 days' notice by email and refund any fortune packs you haven't used. We'll also publish the software and instructions you need to keep your fortune teller working with your own OpenAI and Anthropic accounts.

Fortunes are written by AI for fun and reflection. They aren't advice of any kind, including medical, legal, financial or relationship advice. Please don't make important decisions based on a fortune.

Warranty

• The Guardian: the electronics are covered for 1 year from delivery. If something stops working under normal use, we'll repair or replace it.

• The DIY Kit: if a part arrives faulty, tell us within 30 days of delivery and we'll replace it.

• The warranty doesn't cover damage from drops, water, or changes to the hardware or software. It also doesn't cover problems caused by how a DIY Kit was assembled.

To make a claim, email hello@sanglabs.co with your order number and a short description or video of the problem.

Limits on our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility for any claim related to your order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We aren't responsible for indirect losses.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in effect when you placed your order applies to that order.
